The Story of Reclaiming the Night

0 Flares 0 Flares ×

One amateur astronomer is fed up with how his town’s night sky has gone neglected. Reclaiming the Night follows Samuel Singer, Ph.D. along his path to make big changes in the area and restore the remarkable night sky that was formerly found over it. With all the momentum growing toward astrotourism, you would think it would be a slam-dunk process, but nothing in politics happens quickly, and working an exhausting full-time job while also acting as Executive Director of a growing non-profit certainly doesn’t help. Hopefully the growing trend in dark sky awareness and reports of growing astrotourism can become a powerful ally.

Singer’s story is supplemented by facts and information from leading experts in various fields who are all affected in some form or another.
